The three stone cedars are three awesome rock formations that rise out of the sea just off the coast near the cental part of our town. The dark gray andesite formations rise to a height of about 30 meters, and on their upper levels rock pine and other vegetation typical of cold northern regions have rooted themselves, producing a singular green display. One of the rocks stands a short distance away from the other two and this has given rise to a legend of a love triangle. The stone cedars are illuminated with spot lights at night and the dreamlike quality of their beauty is very popular with the tourists.
