Town Development

[Home] [Greetings and Introduction] [General information]

Our town has numerous incentive programs to encourage people and businesses to call Setana their home. Grants are available for those wishing to start a family here or build a home or business. There is financial assistance for agricultural and industrial trainees as well. Anyone who might want to consider Setana more than just a place to visit, is encouraged to write or call the town hall for more information. Go to the Japanese language homepage for details.

Our town is also actively involved in international exchange through our sister-city relationship with Hanford, California. Our schools have a penpal program with Hanford school children and works of art are exchanged between our two towns as well. Trainees come from Southeast Asia and other parts of the world to learn or polish their dairy farming and livestock breeding skills. Setana may be a small town but we have a whole world perspective.
